Assalaam-o-alaikum and greetings of peace to all my sisters and friends,
This is a study circle for women of all ages and beliefs to learn about Islam in a casual, co-operative format. None of us are certified experts in the religion but we truly love our Creator and His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). We will follow a regular curriculum of tafseer (Quranic explanation) from several well-known sources and offer various lessons which are of interest to the members.

The meetings’ atmosphere of true sisterhood can be as valuable as the lessons, themselves. Please, forward this info or tell anyone who might be interested.
Join us and find out what you have been missing!!

History:
Sisters education is very important and Sisters halaqat are resuming with interesting opportunities in sept 2007. Sr Johanna and Sr Taslima are organizing two different kind of halaqat for sisters on Friday evenings.

early in 2006, we held four months classes for sisters in Arabic Tajweed, Surah Translation, Arabic grammer and calligraphy with sr Rehana. sisters are expected to join all of the classes whereever they have an opportunity.

Many sisters actively participate in volunteers activities and 3 sisters are also board members of masjid. Sisters are an integral part of MCC school and MCC Library. if you have any questions, please write to
